Head of Arranging & Operations - Sadu Portfolio
Role Overview
A Sadu portfolio company is seeking an experienced Head of Arranging & Operations to lead the structuring, execution, and delivery of Sukuk issuances and other capital market transactions. This role is central to expanding Safqah’s product offerings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving execution excellence across complex financial deals
The ideal candidate combines deep capital markets expertise with strong leadership and product development capabilities, and will work closely with internal teams, regulators, and clients to support the firm’s strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Deal Structuring & Execution: Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of Sukuk and other capital market transactions.
Product Development: Design and launch innovative Shariah-compliant and conventional financial products aligned with market opportunities.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all transactions comply with Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations and applicable frameworks.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with legal, compliance, risk, and business teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
Leadership & Oversight: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams on high-value, high-complexity transactions.
Market Intelligence: Monitor capital market trends to identify opportunities for new products and strategic initiatives.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering tailored financial solutions.
Reporting: Provide regular performance and deal progress updates to senior management.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Advanced degree (MBA or MSc) is a plus, particularly in corporate finance or capital markets.
One of the following is required:
CME-1 A & B
CFA Program – Passed Level II
FINRA Series 79
Diploma in Corporate Finance
Minimum 7+ years of experience in capital markets, financial structuring, and deal arranging.
Proven track record in originating, structuring, and executing debt and equity instruments.
Strong experience with Sukuk issuance, real estate funds, and private equity structures.
Preferred Certifications
CAMS, CFE, ICA, CRCMP, or similar AML/Compliance certifications is advantage
Experience with ISO 27001, NCA controls, or PCI-DSS is a plus
